Apply for an organization number

Do we need to apply for an organization number?

No, there is no requirement for a non-profit association to have an organization number. However, the association must have an organization number if, for example, you want to open a bank account or apply for grants.

Membership management

The association uses the membership system eBas. Through eBas, your organization can, among other things, view and manage the membership list, send mailings to members, access online registration, and upload minutes from general meetings. Manuals on how to use the system can be found here and here.

As a member association of the federation, there is an opportunity to obtain an association bank account with Swedbank.

Reimbursement

If you are entitled to reimbursement for expenses, you can find the forms here.

We offer various forms of support to our member organizations.

Administrative support

We offer continuous support and assistance in all matters related to administration and formalities concerning association activities and how to run your organization, such as templates and examples for meetings, minutes, and bylaws.

As a member organization, you get access to the eBas membership system.

Financial support

We can help your association open a bank account with Swedbank.

At present, Space Students Sweden does not offer direct financial support to associations. For this, you are asked to turn to our sister organization Astronomisk Ungdom, which provides financial support in the form of association grants and project grants.

  • Invitation to an annual conference and congress.
  • Opportunities for collaboration with other member associations.
  • Opportunities to be featured on the federation’s social media channels.
