Apply for an organization number
Do we need to apply for an organization number?
No, there is no requirement for a non-profit association to have an organization number. However, the association must have an organization number if, for example, you want to open a bank account or apply for grants.
Organization numbers are issued by Skatteverket. Read here about what is required to apply.
