What is Space Student Sweden?
Space Students Sweden (Astronomisk Ungdoms Studentförbund) is a national federation of student associations in Sweden connected to space, astronomy, and space technology. We bring together students from across the country who share a passion for space. Whether you are pursuing a degree directly related to space or simply fascinated by the universe, you are welcome in our community. Our member associations operate locally at individual universities, organizing events, lectures, and activities for their students.
At the national level, Space Students Sweden coordinates joint initiatives, represents student interests on broader space-related issues, and creates opportunities for collaboration and networking across campuses.
We are a sister federation to Astronomisk Ungdom.
Who are we?
We are a team of individuals whose mission is to ignite a passion for space exploration in young minds by sharing the wonders and mysteries of the cosmos. We aim to inspire the next generation through hands-on experiences like building model rockets, hosting space-themed game shows, and organizing engaging events. By fostering curiosity and excitement about space, we hope to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the universe and encourage the pursuit of knowledge beyond our world.
