Sign-up is now open for Aurora Space Camp, and closes on February 22nd
To kick off the year we are heading to the north and a major space hub in Sweden: Kiruna! At the Aurora Space Camp we will enjoy visits to Esrange Space Center, the mine and more, as well as get to know the local space cluster and space campus. And of course, Kiruna offers a uniquely good opportunity to see the Aurora Borealis, or northern lights.
We are very excited to be able to organize this as the first national activity of Space Students Sweden. The camp is organized in collaboration with our national association Sveriges Rymdstudenter, and planned by active members who are studying at Luleå Tekniska Universitet and KTH. Of course we will visit LTU Rymdcampus, home to both Giron Space Organisation and LTUs Kirunasektionen, two of our member associations. And we hope to see participants from all over Sweden, each carrying their own interests, experiences and ambitions.
This represents our goal of building a community that connects and unites students from all over Sweden, and to create physical events and activities that not only provide our members with opportunities to learn and grow, but also build the community together.
