This Space Students Sweden Conference is a national gathering of students interested in space, a place for networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing. Whether you’re part of a student satellite project, a rocketry team, engaged in space research, or simply fascinated by space exploration, this event provides the perfect setting to learn, discuss, and get inspired.
Proposed aspects of the conference include:
- Project presentations from rocketry-teams, space engineering or space research projects from student and student teams.
- Talks and panels featuring experts from academia, industry, and space agencies.
- Networking opportunities to connect with fellow students and the space sector.
- Discussions on how student space projects can develop and how universities, decision-makers, and student organizations can support future initiatives.
Why is this conference important?
The global space sector is expanding rapidly, and students have a critical role to play in Sweden’s future in space. However, there is currently no national platform dedicated to bringing student projects, industry players, and academia together. This conference fills that gap by:

We are looking for motivated students to join the project team organizing this conference. You don’t need prior experience—just an interest in space and a willingness to contribute!
You should:
- Be able to participate in weekly meetings, during some periods, and in a few team-building/planning weekends.
- Have an interest in space and space activities.
- Be a member of one or more associations within Space Students Sweden (become a member today at spacestudents.se/membership)
The roles will be varied and no matter your specific interest or experience we are sure that you will be able to contribute, but below are the major areas of responsibility for the project group
🚀 Project Leadership – Oversee the planning and execution of the conference, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
📢 Communication & Social Media – Spread the word, create content, and engage with potential participants.
🤝 Business Relations & Sponsorships – Connect with companies and organizations to secure partnerships and funding.
⭐ Student Association coordination – Connect with existing or potential associations within Space Students Sweden and their attendance at the conference.
🎤 Event Management – Plan logistics, coordinate speakers, and manage the event schedule and student activities (such as the sittning)
